RBI World Series

The Major League Baseball RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) World Series is just getting started! Detroit PAL is being represented there by the 15U Junior Team, who were the champions of their division at the regional tournament last month. According to MLB, Detroit has had at least one team competing at the RBI World Series every year since 2003! Overall, Detroit has had 26 teams competing in the RBI World Series since it began.

This year, the RBI World Series is taking place in Cincinnati, hosted by the Cincinnati Reds. There will be 24 teams competing throughout different divisions of baseball and softball throughout the tournament. Good luck to the young men of Detroit PAL!
