Northville High School has been working to get each athletic team involved in a community project. We were honored to have the JV Soccer team choose Detroit PAL!
The entire team was involved in the project. The girls collected and sorted through equipment to donate to the soccer players and presented PAL with a monetary donation from their program fundraiser. On Saturday, May 21st the Northville JV Girl’s Soccer Team joined PAL’s Little Kickers program at Historic Fort Wayne. “They were so excited!” said Coach James Hannah, “They spent Friday planning games and soccer-related activities as well.”
The team was able to volunteer their time and find out just how much fun and how rewarding volunteering can be! The Little Kickers program is for 4-6 year olds to learn the fundamentals of soccer, so the girls were a huge help! A number of these girls decided that they wanted to return and help out the kids of PAL for the rest of the season.
Thank you so much to the entire Northville JV Soccer Team for donating your time and efforts to the kids of Detroit PAL! Their hard work will go a long way.
