Lester A. Booker Jr.
Lester A. Booker Jr. joined PCGCampbell in 2012 as an account executive for the marketing department. In this role, he provides project management support to philanthropic, community outreach and public relations programs for Ford Motor Company Fund, Ford Motor Company Corporate Alliance and Ford Social.
Prior to his appointment at PCGCampbell, Lester held several positions with Palace Sports & Entertainment, including community relations for the NBA Detroit Pistons and public relations for the former WNBA Detroit Shock. His experience has included crisis communication, community relations, public relations, event management and player development. Lester was also a member of the internal work stoppage strategy team, which was responsible for the development of the Staying Relevant Campaign during the 2011 NBA Lockout. Lester was named the 2010 Community Relations Employee of the Year for his outstanding contribution to the success of Palace Sports & Entertainment.
As a Detroit native, Lester dedicates time to give back to the community by serving as Chairman of the Detroit PAL Alumni Leadership Team. He participated in the Detroit PAL Football program as a Cannon Saint player from 1994 – 1997. Lester is also involved in the Central Michigan University Men About Change Male Mentoring Program and Perfecting Church Praise and Worship Team & Dorcas Society.
Lester earned a master’s degree in Sports Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast & Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University.
