Our Strategy
Sports play a tremendous role in developing young people, and this is especially true of young women who participate in PAL. We are kicking off our campaign to support our Girls Changing the Game initiative and we can’t do it alone. With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of our young women so they can thrive and flourish on and off the field.
- Increase participation by girls - benchmarks to monitor progress
- Grow awareness of existing PAL programming - speaking, news media, visibility at other PAL events
- Grow the number of volunteers interested in specifically working with girls, through in-person mentoring and engagement, as well as coaching
- Increase financial support for girls programming at Detroit PAL
