Detroit PAL’s Girls Empowerment Series (G.E.M.S) supports girls in building confidence, leadership, and life skills through experiences rooted in the G.R.E.A.T. Model: Goal Setting, Resilience, Embracing a Healthy Lifestyle, Accountability, and Teamwork.

GEMS Workshops

Interactive girls empowerment workshops for girls ages 11-18 that focuses on key aspects of Detroit PAL’s G.R.E.A.T. Model. Workshops are held quarterly.

GEMS Conference

A two-day conference for girls ages 11–18 featuring networking, team building, enrichment activities, and giveaways. The experience centers on leadership development and confidence building. Held annually in May or June.
